Do you wander from time to time? Do you feel your purpose has changed or gone in a new direction? To wander is to follow…following is not an easy thing to do. When we follow, sometimes we feel lost as it may not be the direction we were planning on going. We may have plotted out a course to look a certain way. This navigational course in our path may have turned curvy or the waters may have become rough in the journey. When the journey changes, we must accept where we are being led to. What does all that mean? Are you wandering or wondering?
As a driven business woman, I had a vision of what that looked like. I was going to design and create products with meaning to celebrate and honor life. As a former buyer, we purchased gifts that lacked depth and meaning so I thought what a nice change to invent classic products that capture the emotion of life. Years of inventing and striving led to trademarks, inventory, and connecting with people through my products especially in the funeral industry.
They say when you feel someone else’s pain, it is a gift. It doesn’t “feel” like a gift, but what I discovered was the healing that came from the encounters with others. When we let go of what we “think” we are supposed to do, we can run through a field of lavender holding it in the palm of our hand…
What are the healing powers of lavender?
Lavender soothes and calms the skin, reduces redness, balances oil production, heals blemishes, and stimulates circulation for improved skin tone. Lavender aids depression, insomnia, mood swings, and stress. It clears your thinking, reduces worry, and balances emotions.
